Daniel Karrer, Member of the Board of Management
He started his carreer as Head of Divisional Reporting for the Pharma Division in Basel. At the end of 1996 he took over the responsibility as a Finance Director and Novartis Country CFO in Chile. In 1999, he returned to Basel and served as Manager of the Financial Processes Improvement Project. Thereafter he assumed the position of Finance Director and Novartis Country CFO in Indonesia until December 2002. From 2002 to 2005 he was Head of Finance Global IT at Novartis International in Basel. In 2006 he moved to the Sandoz Division and took over the role as Regional CFO for Latin America, Canada and Turkey, located in Holzkirchen. A Swiss national, Daniel holds a masters degree in Economics and Business Administration from the University in Basel.
May 1, 2009, Daniel was appointed as a Member of the Board of Management of Lek d.d.
