Lavička Collection

In 1986, a pharmaceutical and medical collection in the former Pharmaceutical and Chemical Company Lek, joined the list of Ljubljana’s museums. The collection was named after Bohuslav Lavička, an apothecary of Czech descent, who collected items which comprise this collection today. In 2002, Slovenia proclaimed, on the initiative of the former Lek Board of Management, this exceptional collection as a cultural monument of national importance.
