In accordance with the provisions of the Securities Market Act-1 and the Rules of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange d.d., Ljubljana Lek Pharmaceuticals d.d., Verovškova 57, Ljubljana, announces that,
concerning the announcement of the intention to make a public tender offer for the shares of Lek, issued by Novartis Pharma Storitve d.o.o., Ljubljana, on 29 August 2002, and the additional announcements of 17 September 2002 and 25 September 2002 by the companies Novartis Pharma AG, Servipharm AG and Novartis Pharma Storitve d.o.o., the Board of Management of Lek d.d. received on 27 September 2002 a notification from the companies Novartis Pharma AG and Servipharm AG of the following alteration:
the bidder Servipharm AG will make a public tender offer for the shares of Lek d.d.
The offer was published in the Delo newspaper on Saturday, 28 September 2002.
